Kuchipudi — The Classical Dance

One of India's eight classical dance forms, Kuchipudi originates from Andhra Pradesh and is rooted in the ancient Natya Shastra. It weaves together graceful footwork, expressive abhinaya, and devotional storytelling, unifying music, drama, and dance into a single sacred art.

Rangapravesam — The Sacred Debut

Rangapravesam, from the Sanskrit ranga (stage) and pravesam (entry), is the formal debut performance of a classical dance student before a public audience. It is far more than a recital; it is a time-honoured rite of passage that marks the culmination of years of dedicated study and the beginning of a dancer's public life as an artist.

Siddhendra Kuchipudi Art Academy

Siddhendra Kuchipudi Art Academy

Named in honour of Siddhendra Yogi, the 17th-century saint who institutionalised Kuchipudi, the Academy preserves the art in its authentic form through guru-shishya training, stage performances, and cultural workshops, nurturing each student in technique, devotion, and the full classical repertoire.

Guru Smt. Swathi Atluri

An accomplished Kuchipudi exponent with decades of experience, Guru Smt. Swathi Atluri brings meticulous technique and deep devotion to her teaching. Under her guidance, students learn not just to dance, but to tell stories, feel the music, and offer their art as worship. Sanjana dedicates this Rangapravesam to her with reverence and love.
